The Fiscal Services department includes internal and external fiscal services, accounts payable, and support for district operations. Through its fiscal services unit, the department accounts for all K-12 public education funding in Yuba County. Fiscal Services monitors and approves school district budgets, produces paychecks and expenditure warrants for all districts, operates a countywide fiscal accounting system, and reviews school attendance reports. The department also provides centralized services that enable schools and districts to perform day-to-day business and administrative operations with cost efficiency.
