FYSCP

The Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) assists both voluntary and involuntary foster placements within all Yuba County schools.  We have a goal to attend all school-age Child Family Team meetings for foster youth within Yuba County. YCOE FYSCP collaborates with Foster Youth District Liaisons to meet the individual educational needs of youth placed within our county.  We also monitor assembly bills for foster youth and provide education and resources for the districts to implement these bills within their schools.  Within Prevention Support, and Services, we strive to support the individual needs of each youth and assist students in connecting with the services, programs, and interventions that will help them thrive socially, emotionally, and educationally to grow and become the best version of themselves possible.

We all must come together to serve the educational needs of our youth placed in foster care EC 48850. This guide provides updated legislation to assist in the goal of youth meeting the state standards.
